I’m a product leader and builder focused on AI evaluation, knowledge systems, search, and tools that make complex workflows feel simple. I’ve led ML and GenAI product work at Apple across Siri, Search, and Apple Intelligence, and I build small software projects in public.
My work tends to sit at the boundary between research and product: defining quality metrics, building evaluation loops, reading failure modes, and turning ambiguous system behavior into shipped improvements.

- Climbing: Climbed to the top of Mount Everest in 2005. Completed the Seven Summits a year later.
- Oceans: Swam across the English Channel in 2008. Guinness World Record for longest Arctic Ocean row in 2012. Sailed reverse Trans-Pac from Honolulu to SF in 2016.
- Flight: Instrument-rated airplane pilot, helicopter pilot, seaplane pilot, and bush-plane tailwheel pilot.
